Basics of Acting for Kids

Whether they are new to the stage or veteran of kid’s shows, this fun 6-week class teaches acting, theatre etiquette, and character development all rolled into one. Theatre games and performance under the spotlight will help spark creativity, boost confidence, and encourage collaboration with your little thespian. They’ll learn all about how to make a great stage performance as well as the insight into what it means to be an actor.

This 6-week Acting Course for Teens explores character identity and motivation, both on-stage and in auditions. This fun and helpful course provides useful techniques and training tools for the young actor in both classic and contemporary material. We will explore key motivational questions and improvisational exercises that allow young actors to work through the challenges of finding their character in any acting situation.
