July 6, 13  9am-12pm

Have you always been intrigued with the technical aspects of a production, the person peaking at the sound and light controls?  Are you interested in learning cutting edge technologies like Light Emitting Diode moving head fixtures, commercial lasers, and carbon dioxide visual effects? Want to know what the heck DMX means? Do you want to learn how to work with a director and design lights for a specific show, how to mount and position lights in the theater, and potentially volunteer to operate the lights for a show?  Medina County Show Biz’s Lighting How-To class can take you as far as you want to go–from beginner to expert. Lighting is a critical aspect of a theater production. Our instructors will show you the ins and outs of a typical lighting system, types of fixtures, and design elements in a comfortable and relatable way. No matter your skill level, we will train you.
